Our Team
Colorado Odyssey is an ALL VOLUNTEER organization and administers the Odyssey of the Mind program in Colorado for students by promoting and organizing the program, supporting participants, and conducting workshops and tournaments, all to provide Colorado students an opportunity to practice and develop teamwork, creative problem solving, and life skills.

Colorado Odyssey has been a Chartered Association of Odyssey of the Mind since 1983 and is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization run by all volunteers. Our Volunteer Leadership Team consists of our Association Director, Regional Directors, Problem Captains, Judge Coordinators, Tournament Volunteer Coordinators, Merchandise Coordinator, Social Media Coordinator and Controller.

We also have an oversight/governance Board of Directors to ensure we are serving our mission, to conduct outreach with our prospective members and schools, to administer the Julie Farr Scholarship process and to ensure we are meeting and exceeding our fiduciary responsibility as a 501(c)(3) organization.
State Association
Calla Pott is the State Association Director and she began her involvement with Odyssey of the Mind in 2000 as a parent of an OMer then joined her husband Rick as a coach of their sons’ team the following year. From the start, Calla was hooked watching her children go beyond their comfort zone to learn new skills, collaborate with team team members and become creative problem solvers. The pinnacle of their coaching experience was when the team won World Finals in 2005, Problem 4, Division II and their daughter's team placed 13th in Problem 4, Division I. After hanging up her coaching hat in 2006, Calla served as a volunteer, judge and Spontaneous Problem Captain before turning her volunteer efforts to be the Association Director starting in 2009.
